Här nedan kommer en liten preview av Muse låt Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever) som kommer att finnas med på The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Soundtrack!
Kanske inte mycket att döma av än, men för mig så låter detta som en ganska glad låt, vilket är förvånande från MUSE gamla vanliga paranoida – superinstrumentala – utomjordiska sound! :o
Vi på The Twilight Saga.se har anat detta ett bra tag och nu är det äntligen officiellt, Muse kommer att vara med på The Twilight Saga: Eclipse – Soundtracket!
The first single on ”The Twilight Saga: Eclipse – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack” has just been confirmed and I get to bring you the exclusive details. Stephenie’s very favorite band, Muse, has contributed a song called ”Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever)” and it’s the first single from the project. It will be out on May 17th. I haven’t heard it yet, but I am very excited. The official soundtrack will also be available on June 8th.
Första singeln på The Twilight Saga: Eclipse – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack har precis blivit officiellt och jag får chansen att ge er alla de exklusiva detaljerna. Stephenie’s egna favoritband Muse kommer att bidra med en låt som heter Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever) och det är den första singeln från ett projekt. Den kommer att komma ut den 17 maj. Jag har inte hört låten än, men jag är väldigt upphetsad! Det officiella soundtracket kommer att vara möjligt att köpa den 8 juni.

Som sagt är det 99% säkert att Eclipse Soundtracket kommer att släppas den 8 Juni och redan nu har det kommit upp massa 
diskussioner om vilka låtar och artister man önskar sig att ha på skivan, bland annat om:
… Adam Lambert had hoped that his song “Suburban Decay” could find a home on the soundtrack. He told MTV News that it could be the perfect tune to further elaborate the love story between Bella and Jacob. “It’s a great song and I hope to perform it someday, and I think it will find a home on a soundtrack or something … maybe ‘Twilight,’ ” he said. “It just didn’t quite fit [in my album]. It’s very theatrical. … It’s very campy, and it was just a bit too campy for the album as a big picture.”
… Adam Lambert hoppas att hans sång ”Suburban Decay” skulle kunna hitta hem på soundtracket. Han berättade för MTV News att det skulle vara den perfekta låten för ytterligare detaljerat förhållande mellan Bella och Jacob. ”Det är en bra sång och jag hoppas att jag kommer att få framträda men den någon gång, och jag tror att det skulle hitta hem på ett soundtrack eller något… kanske Twilight”, sa han. ”Den passade bara inte direkt in på mitt album. Det är väldigt teaterligt… Väldigt töntigt, och den var bara lite för töntig för albumet som en stor bild.”

Enligt källan (twifans.com) så har det nu släppts ett officiellt datum tills då Eclipse soundtracket kommer att släppas!

album has only just been announced.The date of release for the soundtrack will be June 8th, according to Amazon,

Dock så vet alla vi som har hängt med här på sidan att det är hyfsat säkert att bandet Muse kommer att vara med på soundtracket efter Mattew Bellamy sa det redan den 2 Februari. För en liten påminnelse så lägger jag in videon igen där Matt säger det!
Blue October, som ofta förekommer i Stephenie Meyers playlists på hennes sida, kanske ska vara med på Eclipse OST, men efter att ha läst denna artikel på TwilightExaminer så vet manaldrig…
Twilight author Stephenie Meyer loves Blue October. Simple as that.
Back in June, 2008 she and Blue October announced that for Breaking Dawn‘s release, she and lead singer and songwriter Justin Furstenfeld would be joining hands for a mini-tour across the United States.
Check out this video of the two of them talking about that very news, and you will see how enthusiastic Stephenie Meyer was about having Furstenfeld in her corner for the event.
The band is also featured on Meyer’s New Moon playlist for ”Sound of Pulling Heaven Down” and ”Hate Me (Radio Edit),” her Eclipse playlist for ”Overweight (Radio Edit),” and, naturally, her Breaking Dawn playlist for ”Congratulations.” (Also, the band is cited for their songs ”Ugly Side” and ”You Make Me Smile” on Stephenie Meyer’s Midnight Sun playlist.)
So, for some Twilight fans, the fact that Blue October hasn’t been included on the official soundtrack listings for Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon is a bit confounding.
Other bands frequenting Meyer’s playlist include Muse and Linkin Park who did make it onto one or more of the albums. Stephenie Meyer’s playlists have been very influential, in fact, to the soundtrack contributors listed on the albums. For instance, Collective Soul’s ”Tremble for my Beloved” was actually a part of the Twilight album, and other bands like Ok Go, Editors, The Killers, Death Cab for Cutie, and Radiohead (Thom Yorke broke out on his own from this band) all appeared on one or more of her playlists and did make it onto the album.
Aside from Blue October, there are only a handful of other bands appearing regularly on the Stephenie Meyer playlists but not on the soundtracks like Coldplay and My Chemical Romance.
According to Justin Furstenfeld’s recent interview with Blast Magazine, Blue October’s non-inclusion on the first two soundtracks might have a little something to do with the suits.
“Me and Stephenie Meyer are great friends,” Furstenfeld said. “I hate her camp, but I love her. Stephenie Meyer had the balls to take me to dinner…she said, ‘I wanna put your songs in my movies…’ and I was like, ‘Wow. That’s my dream — let’s do it.’ First movie comes out, no song. Second movie comes out, no song. Her management was like, ‘Everything we told you was a lie.’”
Pretty harsh suggestion there, huh?
At this point, no official track list for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has been announced, so it could still be that soundtrack organizer Alexandra Patsavas was planning all along for Eclipse to host Blue October’s music . . . Let’s hope so

Men visst låter det konstigt att Steph inte fick ha med ett av sina favoritband, när hon fick ha med de andra?

The idea that the 100 Monkeys should appear on the official soundtrack for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has been floating around for quite some time.
The band, made popular in part thanks to its member and Twilight star Jackson Rathbone, has been vetted for a spot on the album by a great many Twilight fans over the past few months.
Several of the band’s members did an interview recently with TMCnet, and during the discussion, Ben Graupner (a.k.a. ”Ben G”) talked about that very possibility.
There has been talk of 100 Monkeys appearing on the ”Eclipse” soundtrack, but Graupner says, ”I think we know just about as much as anyone else who’s out there.” ”Obviously, they know who we are,” he says. ”We played a couple of cast parties and stuff … you wind up meeting those people. They know the music, but there’s been no formal approach from either side concerning that. So I think at this point it’s all just sort of Internet buzz.”
While no official track listing for the album has yet been released, and talk about who will be a part of the soundtrack has been ”buzz”-ing around quite a bit, the fact that they haven’t heard anything about it yet is discouraging to that end.
Of course, only time will tell.

That’s right you’re reading those words correctly, we have an exciting TA Exclusive for you! Although we heard the heartbreaking news earlier this month that Muse was not going to make an appearance on the Eclipse soundtrack, it turns out that may have all changed.
TA has a reporter who has been covering events down at the SXSW (South By Southwest) Festival in Austin, Texas all week. Well today that reporter happened to find themselves in conversation with informed sources from Chop Shop/Atlantic Records. The source has confirmed thatMuse will indeed be on the Eclipse soundtrack.
I guess it makes sense that this would be the place that the label and the band could come together. Both Muse and Chop Shop were at SXSW this weekend, so maybe they were able to come to some kind of terms to work together again on Eclipse. So unless more changes between now and when the soundtrack comes out, we can celebrate. All I know is I want to sing from the rooftops now! Having just seen them in concert (go if you can!), I don’t think I’ll ever get enoughMuse. Now all we need is official confirmation from Muse and Summit on this one!

Efter att ha varit med i både Twilight (Supermassive Black Hole, baseball-scenen) och New moon (I Belong To You, när hon pratar med Charlie, innan hon träffar Jessica) så blir det inget Muse i Eclipse.
Tidigare la Emelie ut en video där Matt sa att de hade fått en förfrågan om att göra en låt till Eclipse. Nu har dock Dominic Howard gått ut med ett uttalande:
Nah, it’s gone. Oh, it’s nothing to do with Stephenie, she’s totally cool,” says Howard, beginning to explain how Muse have potentially broken their Twilight hat-trick. “It’s the people in the movie business, completely outside of the writers and the creative types, the non-creative types I suppose are the people who are quite hard to deal with in Hollywood, so it didn’t work out.
