Boken finns att köpa på Bokia i Göteborg för 169kr! Böckerna går inte att köpa sepapat utan man får alla fyra för det priset!
Det finns ju många saker man undrar om Twilight. Små detaljer, tankar, Alice och Edwards inre dialoger…

Viktigaste frågan kanske? När föll Edward för Bella?
Q: Did Edward ever watch Bella during those six weeks of silence or was he trying to be strong and leave her alone? When did he realize that he was falling for her?
SM: Edward did not watch Bella in her home or outside of school during the time that he was ignoring her.
He was trying very, very hard to forget her existence.
He already knew, thanks to Alice, that there was a great chance that he was going to impact Bella’s life in a negative way.
He was trying as hard as he could to change the future. He was very aware of her when he had to be near her in school.
It was during this time of surreptitious watching–analyzing her every word and expression, everything everyone else said to her and thought about her–that he fell in love with her.

I’m so excited to be working with Nick Weschler, and Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz to bring The Host to a visual format. They’ve all been a dream to work with, so lovely and collaborative, and I feel like we’re in a really good place to make a great movie together. And then to have Andrew Niccol writing and directing? Truly awesome. If you’ve never seen Gattaca, go watch it now. One of my favorite movies of all time. It’s such a great example of character driven science fiction, which is ideal for The Host, no? I’m having an absolute blast imagining different dream casts, which I would post if people didn’t take my silly blogs so seriously these days. I’m looking forward to seeing the cast lists you come up with in the fansite forums, and if any of them match mine.
So, very exciting. Yay Host!

Hittade en artikel på DN om att Stephenie Meyer anklagas för plagiat (kopiering från någon annans verk). Så här stog det:
Det är den senaste boken i vampyrserien, ”Så länge vi båda andas” som är i hetluften, skriver The Guardian.
Författaren Jordan Scott hävdar att Meyers bok i flera avseenden är ”slående och påtagligt lik” hennes egen bok ”Nocturne”. Hon kräver både ekonomisk ersättning och att Meyers förlag stoppar vidare utgivning av boken.
Meyers förlag tillbakavisar kraven som grundlösa, och hänvisar bland annat till att man inte ens fått ett exemplar av boken och inte kände till vare sig den eller författaren plagiat-anklagelserna dök upp.

Straitstimes.com postade nyligen en artikel som sade att Jordan Scott stämt Stephenie Meyer – för att snott delar utav hennes bok ”The Nocturne”.
AUTHOR of the Twilight series of books, Stephenie Meyer, is being sued by a woman who says Meyer copied her work, said media reports on Thursday.Jordan Scott is claiming that Meyer’s book, Breaking Dawn, is based on her own book, The Nocturne.
Scott wrote the book when she was 15 years old and it was published in 2006 reported entertainment website TMZ.
According to Scott, the books ”show striking, articulable and substantial similarities in the… plot lines, themes, dialogue, mood, setting, pace, characters, sequence of events, ideas and other similarities.”
TMZ has previously reported on the story, listing the similarities claimed by Scott, who sent Meyer a detailed letter stating the same claims.
Some of the scenes Scott says have been copied include a post-wedding sex scene, and a scene involving the death of a main character’s wife, said TMZ.
TMZ was told by Meyer’s representative: ”The claim that Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer somehow infringes on an alleged book by someone named Jordan Scott is completely without merit.
”Neither Stephenie Meyer nor her representatives had any knowledge of this writer or her supposed book prior to this claim,” they told TMZ.
However Scott has now decided to pursue her claims and is taking Meyer to court.

Hursomhelst postades artikeln idag, så jag har ingen aning om hur länge detta pågått, eller hur mycket sanning som ligger i detta.

Hey everybody! I hope you all had a great summer. I’m sorry I don’t update more, but it’s crazy how busy you can be without really having anything to update about. I decided to do an end of the summer recap like I did last year—just the books and music and movies I enjoyed most. I love to share good stuff.
I also got an early look at a book I’ve been eagerly awaiting: Cathing Fire
, the sequel to Suzanne Collins’ phenomenal The Hunger Games . It not only lived up to my high expectations, it surpassed them. It’s just as exciting as The Hunger Games, but even more gut wrenching, because you already know these characters, you’ve already suffered with them. Suzanne takes the story places I wasn’t expecting, and she’s never afraid to take it to very hard places. Stunning. You won’t sleep when you’re reading this one. It hits
shelves September 1st. I suggest beginning in the early morning and clearing your calendar for the day.
And finally movies. Mostly when I get out to a movie, it’s a kid’s movie. So Pixar’s Up was the highlight of my summer. And then this Saturday I went to see an actual grown-up people movie, yay! Admittedly, I went to see the New Moon trailer on the big screen (yes, I’m a total dork. Who cares? It was worth it). But then I stayed to see Bandslam because the reviews were so good, and I was glad I did. With my hopeless love of music coupled with my total lack of musical ability, I really dug Will. He’s my hero right now. It had a good soundtrack, as one might expect, a lot of very quotable one-liners, and it turned upside down some of those lame female-interaction stereotypes. It’s a good time.
