The Twilight Saga – som tv-serie?

Vi har fått kommentarer och mail från läsare som undrat om det kommer komma ytterliggare en film, då det tydligen varit någon som gjort ett utlåtande som någon tolkade fel osv osv. Även om jag är på semester (Helle befinner sig just nu i Hong Kong) hade jag lite tid över och tänkte kolla upp det hela!

Vi har inte skrivit så mycket om det, men några av er kanske vet att Summit Entertainment har köpts och slagits ihop med Lionsgate (filmbolaget bakom t  ex The Hunger Games) och här är ett utlåtande:

”I’m anticipating ‘Breaking Dawn Part 2′ being $700 million-plus in worldwide box office,” Feltheimer told the Los Angeles Times. ”It’s hard for me to imagine a movie that does $700 million-plus doesn’t have ongoing value. It’s an amazing franchise that they have done a great job of maintaining with absolutely no deterioration”

So does he want the franchise to continue? ”The simple answer is ‘Boy I hope so,’” Feltheimer said. And could that mean a ”Twilight” TV series, considering that Lionsgate — unlike Summit — already does TV work? ”I would certainly hope so,” he said.

Han säger alltså att han HOPPAS att Lionsgate kommer göra Twilight till en tv-serie, så att sagan kan leva vidare.

Jag vill höra era tankar, vad tycker ni?

Själv vet jag inte vad jag tycker…det känns som det helt enkelt håller på att bli för mycket, och att en tv-serie enbart skulle gå ut på att tjäna pengar. Jag menar – tv-serien tar ju också slut efter ett tag och vad kommer då? En Volturi spin-off? En serie om hur The Cullens levde innan de kom till Forks?

Jag har alltid varit en av de som tycker att Twilight BORDE blivit en tv-serie, men jag vet inte riktigt vad jag tycker nu när sagan har blivit film redan. Jag är inte helt positiv till tanken men jag kan inte säga att jag är helt emot den. Frågan är om jag skulle vara lika intresserad av tv-serien. Som jag sa innan – de kan ju mjölka hur mycket som helst ur sagan om de vill, med spin-offs och grejer.

Sen måste vi komma ihåg att det troligtvis inte kommer vara helt samma skådespelare. Vad tycker vi om detta? Vissa ser visserligen inte skådisarna som karaktärerna men det är klart man blir fäst efter fem filmer. Eller man kanske ska spela in en serie RUNT Twilight? Göra en Volturi-serie kanske?

Ja, ni har hört min åsikt, vad tycker ni?

Det är Kristens hand på fjäderbilden!

Enligt Twilight Lexicon är det nu även bekräftat av Summit!

Ser ni ringarna? De ringar in en leverfläck som Kristen har på sin hand, som någon hade lyckats se! Men som sagt, det är bekräftat av Summit ;)

Tama0026 on Twitter did some research, blew up some photos, and has come to the conclusion that it is Kristen Stewart’s arm in the photo that we posted earlier today. Check out her side-by-side comparison below.

EDITED: Confirmed direct from Summit entertainment that it is Kristen’s arm!

As for the bruises, we’re thinking they are probably higher up on her arms. With Stephenie as producer there is no way they are not going to be there.

These cast members join Billy Burke as Charlie Swan.

Academy Award® winner Bill Condon will direct THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN based on the fourth novel in author Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series, starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. The project is currently being written by Melissa Rosenberg with Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt, and Stephenie Meyer producing. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN is slated to be released November 18, 2011.

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic that has entranced millions.

The family of vampires, to which the leading male character Edward Cullen belongs, is comprised of Facinelli as Carlisle, Greene as Alice, Lutz as Emmett, Rathbone as Jasper, Reaser as Esme, and Reed as Rosalie.

Eclipse trailer information


Det är några månader kvar tills premiären och nu börjar det trilla in information om trailers. Verkar som vi får vänta ännu i en månad för att få en smygtitt på Eclipse, men kanske är det värt att vänta när trailern kommer vara 7 minuter lång?
Så här skriver Lion lamb:

The Twilight Movie- Eclipse is set to be released on June 30, 2010. Normally there would be numerous trailers- official and unofficial all over the internet. However, Summit Pictures who produces the Twilight Saga movies has different plans for this movies trailers. The first trailers are to be released on ONLY the Wal Mart The Twilight Saga: New Moon Ultimate Fan Edition to be sold on Saturday, March 20th.

The trailer will be 7 minutes comprised of interviews with creator Stephenie Meyer as well as the movies three main stars- Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, and Kristen Stewart. There are rumored to be other clips but that there will be a substantial and important scene included in the trailer.

As most Twilight fans know Eclipse is the third installment of the Twilight Series.  This is where Bella must choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob. She is also threatened by a vampire from her past and the ever famous vote is in this story. What do you readers think will be the ”scene” that will be part of the trailer?

Also, knowing Summit’s history for advertising all of their upcoming movies before their recently released movies- does anyone think a trailer will be released  Robert Pattinson’s upcoming film Remember Me?

Breaking Dawn beslut inom några veckor?

Ja det verkar så! Men ta inte ett glädje skutt ännu, inget är säkert men enligt Perez Hilton är det en deadline på Summit nu, bland annat för att våra twilight stars inte blir yngre per minut.

Men en sak måste jag fråga er, är det verkligen och låter bra att få Breaking Dawn i 3D? Jag är faktiskt inte riktigt positivt inriktad till den tanken, inte när det handlar om TTS.

Look, we get it. Everyone wants to see Taylor Lautner’s precious abs up-close and in their face, but that doesn’t mean they should put the final installment in of Twilight in 3-D!

Should they?

Sources are suggesting that while Summit Entertainment has yet to make a decision on whether Breaking Dawn will be one film or two (and seriously, you guys have had more than enough time to make that decision), another topic on the table for the execs is if the flick should be made in 3D. The technology has worked well for other blockbusters like Transformers and Avatar, so why shouldn’t it do well with Twilight?

One word: OVERKILL!

Sure, there is more money to be made by banking on a the trend, but does anyone really need to see Kristen Stewart biting her lip that close to their retinas?! Isn’t bad enough that Taylor and Robert Pattinson have to do it!

But here is some good news for your Twilighters: by the end of the month, all your questions should be answered! Sources say that Summit has till the end of February to make all the decisions regarding Breaking Dawn if they have any chance of getting production underway before R-Patz starts to get wrinkles.

So by March you should know if they are making four Twilight movies or five, if it will be available in 3D, and if you can honestly say it was worth waiting all this time for the news.

But back to the point: Do U think that Breaking Dawn should be in 3D?

Som sagt,  jag är skeptisk, men om vi får snart reda på Breaking Dawn vad gäller filmmässigt tänker jag nog ta och lägga mig nu med ett leende på läpparna! :D

Twilight lexicon avslöjar!

ALLT VAR BARA ETT RYKTE OM TANYA! Twilight lexicon har pratat med Summit!:

Apparently there is this magazine in South America that reported that actress Luisana Lopilato was cast in Eclipse in the role of Tanya. She’s the girlfriend of Canadian performer Michael Buble. They were recently seen in Vancouver ( shocker we know since her boyfriend is…er…Canadian) and someone put 2+2 together and basically came up with 5.

It seemed really fishy to us in that Tanya 1) is not in the book Eclipse as an actual speaking character, and 2) that part or anything remotely like it hasn’t appeared on any casting notices.

So we asked Summit. It turns out despite the fact that it’s being reported as fact in various quarters that it’s just plain rumor and nothing more. We confirmed with Summit that Luisana Lopilato in not invovled in Eclipse.

Summit förklarar.

Kommer ni ihåg intervjun med Boo Boo Stewart om att Breaking Dawn skulle bli till två filmer? Nu har Summit förklarat om det.

However, a rep for Summit Entertainment – the studio behind the hit vampire film franchise – has now told Access that BooBoo (who will join the big screen saga as wolfpack member Seth Clearwater in the next installment) was premature in his statements.

Although BooBoo has contract options for additional films after “Eclipse,” there are no guarantees yet that those films will be made.

And while a fourth film in the series is likely since there were four books in the popular Stephanie Meyer’s series, the studio could not confirm “Breaking Dawn” would make it to the big screen just yet.


Så vi får fortfarande hålla tummarna för att Breaking Dawn skall bli till film!

Diskussion mellan Summit och Lefevre

Summit skriver såhär om Rachelle Lefevres senaste uttalande om sin besvikelse:

We at Summit Entertainment are disappointed by Rachelle Lefevre’s recent comments which attempt to make her career choices the fault of the Studio. Her decision to discuss her version of the scheduling challenges publicly has forced the Studio to set the record straight and correct the facts.

* Ms. Lefevre’s representatives were advised as early as April that THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE was expected to start shooting in early August.

* If Ms. Lefevre was, as she describes “passionate,” about being part of THE TWILIGHT SAGA, we feel that she and her representatives would have included us in her decision to work on another film that would conflict with the shooting schedule of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE.

* It was not until July 20th that Summit was first informed of Ms. Lefevre’s commitment to BARNEY’S VERSION, a commitment we have since been advised she accepted in early June. Summit had acted in good faith that she would be available to fulfill her obligations both in terms of rehearsals and shooting availability for THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. We feel that her choice to withhold her scheduling conflict information from us can be viewed as a lack of cooperative spirit which affected the entire production.

* Furthermore Ms. Lefevre took a role in the other film that places her in Europe during the required rehearsal time, and at least ten days of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE’s principal photography. This period is essential for both rehearsal time with the cast, and for filming at key locations that are only available during the initial part of production.

* Contrary to Ms. Lefevre’s statement, it is simply untrue that the Studio dismissed her over a ten day overlap. It is not about a ten day overlap, but instead about the fact that THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE is an ensemble production that has to accommodate the schedules of numerous actors while respecting the established creative vision of the filmmaker and most importantly the story.

The fact remains that Ms. Lefevre’s commitment to the other project – which she chose to withhold from Summit until the last possible moment – makes her unfortunately unavailable to perform the role of Victoria in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE.
